To advance our goals, the Sustainable Sourcing Initiative tackles regenerative, equitable, and plant-based food systems change from three key angles:
1. Facilitation
- Determine baselines for industry infrastructure, practices, gaps, opportunities
- Work across supply networks and communities to build a shared vision for future
- Support robust pilot programs and research initiatives
- Connect like-minded people and organizations to amplify impact
- Offer trainings and education around domestic sourcing, regenerative agriculture, and equity
2. Communication
- Amplify participants’ achievements and needs through strategic communications and marketing
- Promote the need for and many benefits of domestic sourcing, regenerative practices, and increased equity in the plant-based foods industry
3. Policy Advocacy
- Support meaningful policy campaigns at the state and federal levels to advance domestic sourcing, regenerative practices, and equity in the plant-based foods industry
